The five-week interactive online course will be led by Olympic medallists and ISSF Academy Level A Shotgun Instructors Russell and Lauryn Mark. Designed for novice and intermediate athletes, the programme combines technical education, practical advice and direct interaction with the instructors, helping participants build a strong foundation in ISSF shotgun disciplines.
Throughout the course, athletes will have access to more than 40 video tutorials covering a wide range of topics, including range protocols, equipment selection, technical fundamentals, goal setting and the mental and physical aspects of progression in shooting sport. While many of the lessons apply to both Trap and Skeet, participants will also receive discipline-specific guidance tailored to the unique demands of each event.

A key feature of the programme is the weekly live online sessions with Russell and Lauryn Mark, offering participants the opportunity to ask questions, discuss technical concepts and benefit from the experience of two of the sport's most respected coaches. The course also provides value for experienced athletes looking to revisit fundamental skills and refine areas of their performance.
The final session includes a unique online review of selected participants' techniques and equipment, allowing all attendees to learn from practical examples and understand how constructive feedback can be applied to improve performance.

As the first ISSF Academy course created specifically for shotgun athletes, the programme represents another step in the Academy's commitment to making high-quality education accessible to the global shooting sport community.
Registration is now open through the ISSF Academy website.
