The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is encouraging its Member Federations and stakeholders to make use of the newly launched IPACS Sport Governance Benchmark & Guidelines Handbook, a practical resource designed to support good governance across the international sporting community.

The handbook has been developed through the International Partnership against Corruption in Sport (IPACS), a multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together sports organisations, governments and international institutions to strengthen integrity, transparency and accountability in sport.

The publication forms part of a broader effort by IPACS to support sports organisations in implementing governance standards that promote transparency, accountability and trust. A strategic roadmap for the dissemination of the handbook was recently approved by the IPACS Steering Committee, with implementation activities now underway.

As a member of the IPACS Good Governance Task Force, the ISSF remains committed to advancing good governance throughout shooting sport and supporting initiatives that contribute to stronger, more transparent and more resilient sporting organisations.

The ISSF encourages Member Federations, administrators, and governance professionals to explore the handbook and consider how its recommendations can be applied within their own organisations.

Good governance remains a key pillar of the ISSF's strategic vision and aligns closely with the federation's ongoing work in the areas of integrity, safeguarding, transparency and organisational development.

The IPACS Sport Governance Benchmark & Guidelines Handbook is available in multiple languages and can be accessed through the IPACS Good Governance Tools Library here.
