Frasca was untouchable throughout the final, hitting every target to complete a perfect 30 out of 30, surpassing the previous World Record and securing one of the most memorable victories of his career. The Italian never allowed his rivals an opportunity to close the gap, delivering a composed and clinical performance to earn gold on home soil.

Spain’s Andres Garcia claimed the silver medal with 28 hits, producing an excellent final of his own. Garcia remained in contention throughout the competition and finished with just two missed targets, but Frasca’s perfect display proved impossible to match.

France’s Clement Bourgue completed the podium after scoring 23 hits. The French shooter stayed firmly in the medal fight before securing bronze with another consistent performance at one of the most competitive World Cups of the season.

China’s Qi Ying narrowly missed out on the podium, finishing fourth with 17 targets, while Abdulrahman Alfaijan of Kuwait and Yu Haicheng of China both finished on 13. Alfaijan was classified fifth ahead of Yu in sixth.
Olympic champion Giovanni Cernogoraz of Croatia placed seventh with 8 targets, while Spain’s Adria Martinez Torres completed the eight-athlete final in eighth place with 7.

Frasca’s World Record performance provided another historic moment for the ISSF World Cup Shotgun Lonato 2026, becoming the fourth World Record established during the competition after the remarkable performances witnessed in the Skeet finals earlier in the week. With the home crowd celebrating a perfect performance from one of their own, the Trap Men final delivered a fitting highlight as the World Cup approaches its conclusion.
