Organised by the Chinese Shooting Association, the course welcomed 31 participants, who received instruction from Paul Gumn (Great Britain), Oscar Martinez (Venezuela) and Ian Huang (China).
The programme covered both Rifle and Pistol disciplines, with participants completing theoretical and practical assessments in line with ISSF judging standards.

The Rifle course produced particularly strong results, with 22 participants achieving the 82% pass mark required by the ISSF Judges Committee. Two participants achieved a perfect 100% score, demonstrating an exceptional level of knowledge and understanding of the ISSF Rules.
The Pistol section also recorded an impressive standard, with 22 participants reaching the required pass mark of 82%, although the successful candidates were not entirely the same as those in the Rifle examination. The two participants who achieved perfect scores in the Rifle assessment also excelled in Pistol, each recording 96%.

The knowledge gained during the course was immediately put into practice, with several of the highest-performing participants appointed as National Technical Officials (NTOs) for the ISSF World Cup in Hangzhou, contributing to the successful delivery of the competition.
The course also highlighted the positive development of the officiating community, with a high proportion of young judges among the participants. Women also outnumbered men, reflecting the continued growth and diversity of technical officials within the shooting sport community.

The ISSF regularly organises judges' education programmes around the world to ensure the consistent application of the ISSF Rules and to support the development of qualified technical officials at national and international level.
