Since voting opened on 28 October, fans have been able to support eligible athletes in the People’s Choice Men and People’s Choice Women categories. The nominees were drawn from athletes ranked among the top 100 in the World Rankings who competed during the season and earned World Ranking points.
Voting closes at 23:59 UTC today.
The athletes shortlisted through the first round will advance to Phase 2, when the community will have another opportunity to vote for its favourites.
The second phase will open on 9 November at 00:00 UTC and run until 18 November at 23:59 UTC. The final votes will determine the winners in the two People’s Choice categories.
The 2026 ISSF Awards recognise athletes across eight categories: Pistol Men, Pistol Women, Rifle Men, Rifle Women, Shotgun Men, Shotgun Women, People’s Choice Men and People’s Choice Women.
The six Pistol, Rifle and Shotgun categories are decided through an internal voting process managed by the ISSF Athletes’ Committee, while the People’s Choice categories give fans a direct role in selecting the winners.
The ISSF thanks everyone who has participated in the opening phase and encourages fans to return for the next round.
The shortlisted athletes and details of Phase 2 will be announced ahead of voting reopening on 9 November.
