ISSF Road to Paris episode 5 looks at the 10m air pistol women event

Featuring Olympic highlights and exclusive big-name interviews all the way to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26

The fifth episode of the ISSF Road to Paris 2024 series, released today on the ISSF YouTube platform, explores the history of the 10m air pistol women’s event.

Serbia's 37-year-old world record holder Zorana Arunovic discusses her journey to Paris, as well as her experiences as a three-times Olympian including a surprise encounter with tennis start Rafael Nadal, who won Olympic singles gold in 2008 and Olympic doubles in 2016.

Jiang Ranxin of the People’s Republic of China discusses her experience at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games where she was a part of the gold medal-winning mixed team. Still only 23 years old, Jiang will look to follow up the individual world title she earned in Baku last year with further success at Paris 2024.

This 20-part ISSF documentary countdown to the Olympics and Paralympics, hosted by Martina Lučić and Jamie Stangroom, will take the sport’s followers all the way through to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26.

En route it is revisiting some of the biggest Olympic moments and feature exclusive interviews with some of shooting sport’s top names.
