Vennekamp and Bhaker feature as ISSF Road to Paris 2024 focuses on 25m pistol women event

Featuring Olympic highlights and exclusive big-name interviews all the way to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26

The 13th episode of the ISSF Road to Paris 2024 series, released today on the ISSF YouTube platform, looks at the 25m pistol women event.

The interviewees for this episode are Germany’s Doreen Vennekamp, the ISSF female Athlete of the Year, who equalled the then world record of 40 in earning world gold in Baku last year, and India’s 22-year-old Manu Bhaker, who won 10m air pistol gold at the 2018 Youth Olympics and 2019 Asian Championships and took part in both pistol events at the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Both women have won Olympic quota places in this event.

This 20-part ISSF documentary countdown to the Olympics and Paralympics, hosted by Martina Lučić and Jamie Stangroom, will take the sport’s followers all the way through to the Games Opening Ceremony on July 26.

En route it is revisiting some of the biggest Olympic moments and feature exclusive interviews with some of shooting sport’s top names.
