ISSF World Cup Munich: medal standings and records.

The medal standings and the records of the 2009 ISSF World Cup in all Olympic shooting events in Munich, GER, which was closed today.

The 2009 ISSF World Cup stage in all events in Munich was closed today by the Skeet Men competition, won by Jan Sychra of Czech Republic.

The ISSF World Cup series is now moving to Milan, ITA, where the fifth leg of this year’s series will take place from the 21st through the 29th of May.  

Munich’s medal standings:
The overall medal standings see again the People’s Republic of China in the lead, with four Gold medals, four Silvers and one Bronze. The Russian Federation followed in second place with two Gold and one Silver, while Israel and Ukraine made it into the top-3 by shooting two Gold medals, both won in rifle events.

Records
One new World Record was set and four World Records were equalled during this ISSF World Cup stage in all shooting events.

- Jan SYCHRA (CZE), tied the Skeet Men World Record of 125 hits out of 125 targets.

- Massimo FABBRIZI (ITA), tied the Trap Men World Record of 125 hits out of 125 targets.

- WEI Ning (CHN), tied the Skeet Women World Record of 74 hits out of 75 targets.

- Sergy RIKHTER (ISR), tied the Junior World Record of 599 points in the 10m Air Rifle Men event.

- HE Zhaohui (CHN), set a new Junior World Record of 1182 points in the 50m Rifle 3 Positions Men event.
