The dates of the six ISSF World Cup Stages, the World Cup Stage in all events and of the two World Cup Finals are out. Shotgun World Championships’ dates confirmed.
The 2013 ISSF World Cup Series calendar has been unveiled today by the ISSF Headquarter in Munich, after the last dates were finalized.
The 2013 Shooting season will start from Acapulco, Mexico, where the first ISSF Shotgun World Cup of the year will kick off on March the 15th, lasting right to March the 24th-
Rifle & Pistol fans will only have to wait a few more days, as the first ISSF World Cup in Rifle and Pistol events will be held in Changwon (KOR) starting from April the 1st.
The season will then continue with an ISSF Shotgun World Cup Stage in Al Ain (UAE) kicking off on April the 15th, followed by two ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup Stages in Fort Benning (USA) and Munich (GER) in May.
In June, the ISSF World Cup Series will move to Nicosia, Cyprus, where an ISSF Shotgun World Cup Stage will be held from the 8th thought the 17th.
The last leg of the ISSF World Cup Series, a combined World Cup Stage in all events, will take place in Granada (Spain) from July the 3rd through July the 12th.
The two ISSF World Cup Finals will then be held at the end of the season, in October. Rifle and Pistol shooters will compete at the 1972 Olympic Shooting Range of Munich, the home of target shooting, from 7th to the 13th of October. A few days later, the Shotgun Finalists will meet in the United Arab Emirates, in Abu Dhabi, to compete in the ISSF Shotgun World Cup Final from the 21st through the 29th of October.
At the same time, the dates of the ISSF Shotgun World Championship, taking place in Lima, Peru, have been confirmed. The most important shotgun competition of 2013, featuring separate Junior events, will take place from 14th to the 23rd of September.
