The Mixed Team events have been included in the World Cup Final program for the first time this year

The President’s Trophy in the Mixed Trap and Skeet Team events brought the ISSF World Cup Shotgun Final in Al Ain (UAE) to conclusion.

This was the inaugural appearance for the Mixed Team events on a World Cup Final stage. Athletes from different countries came together to form mixed teams.

In the Trap Mixed Team Final Catherine Skinner from Australia and Khaled Almudhaf from Kuwait won Gold. Laetisha Scanlan from Australia teamed up with Lyndon Sosa from Luxembourg to take the second place. Aeriel Alease Skinner from the USA and Josip Glasnovic from Croatia finished in third place. 

In the Skeet Mixed Team Final Luke Peter Argiro from Australia and Caitlin Connor from the USA won Gold. Saeed Almaktoum from the United Arab Emirates and Amber Hill from Great Britain took Silver. Francisca Crovetto Chadid from Chile and Christian Elliott from the USA were in third place.

The first 4 teams in each of the finals were awarded prize money from the ISSF President.

68 top athletes from 22 countries took part in the ISSF World Cup Final in Al Ain, with shooters from 8 different countries taking home the medals.
