Presidents of the Continental Confederations and members of the ISSF and ESC Athletes Committees took part in the meeting.
The Executive Committee approved the calendar of the ISSF Championships in 2022 as well as the main approaches to the Qualification system for Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
The ISSF Executive Committee members also approved the structure of the shooting sport events’ formats for 2022-2024 and the Development Fund activity.
The Executive Committee recommended the Council to approve the Palestine Shooting Federation as the associated member of the ISSF and the change of nationality of Yaroslav Startsev from the Russian Federation to Georgia with immediate effect.
Despite the global pandemic the ISSF managed to realize nearly all calendar for 2021. Special tribute was paid to the Member Federations of Morocco, Egypt, Italy, Croatia, Cyprus, Poland, Kazakhstan and Peru for holding the competitions on a high level.
Besides, the Executive Committee members were updated on statistics that demonstrated a considerable increase of the the Internet and TV audience.
The Executive Committee decided to propose the Council approve the ISSF Disciplinary Regulations and the Guidelines for Environment. The Council meeting will take place on November 8, 2021.
